You will be aware that, as part of your child’s educational experience at Timothy Hackworth Primary School, we aim to promote personal development and wellbeing through a comprehensive taught programme of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education that gives children and young people the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthy, safe, productive and fulfilled lives, both now and in the future. Relationships and Health Education is a statutory subject. Please see the leaflet entitled ‘Understanding Relationships and Health Education in your child’s primary school: a guide for parents’, which is being made available alongside this letter.
