Our children were offered the opportunity to attend the ‘Mayor at Home’ event at Shildon Civic Hall on the afternoon of Friday 5th July. The children who attended presented a range of their learning to the Mayor and invited guests.

Timothy Hackworth School first opened in February 1910 – here it is under construction in approximately 1908.

On Tuesday 12th June, famous author Vivian French visited our school to take part in two reading and writing workshops with our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils.
